Starbase Louisiana: The Next Era Needs People

Space projects capture our imagination. Preparing people to participate in what comes next deserves just as much attention.

In this short excerpt from the Edward and Alfred Show, Alfred and I discuss Starbase Louisiana and the workforce opportunities that could accompany the region’s developing space industry.

The questions reach beyond the launchpad. What skills will employers need? Where can people find relevant training? How can schools introduce their programs to prospective students—and businesses introduce themselves to prospective employees?

Those are connections we want LaunchWorX to help make.

Our approach brings job listings, training information, video storytelling and Ocean 11 television together. We call it the Dynamic Flywheel: coordinated opportunities for people to discover an employer, explore a program and take a practical next step.

Large developments take time, and announced plans can change. We can still begin building useful connections today.
